I am the proud mother of Chloe and Pearl and adoring wife to my husband Pete. We have two wonderful children that we adopted from China. My hobbies are sewing and photography, so this blog may cover a wide range of topics. I am also a civil engineer and that helps pay the bills.

I am praying for you - you are a trooper with Pete ill like that. Try to enjoy - inspite of - looks like you are doing a good job of that!! Can't wait to see Pearl.
Oh my, Lori. What a difficult journey! We are praying that Pete will feel better and that it is not going to affect any of you!
We are also praying that the bad news from home gets better somehow. I'm sorry you are having so much trouble when you should only have to focus on the joy of bringing home Pearl.
I'm so glad Daisy is with you! We had a wonderful time with our students too. We also went to the Peking Duck restaurant and got our little certificate. It was a lot of fun and we really enjoyed the dinner with Wendy and her family.
Can't wait to see Pearl!
